Jackie’s background is nursing and she has also worked as a health and social care trainer and assessor for a number of years. Working with people is a major part of the job and one that gives her great enjoyment. Kids Bee Happy appealed to Jackie as it enables her to continue to work with people as well as providing a fun and stimulating activity for the children. There is nothing more rewarding that seeing a child with a big smile on their face after completing a creative picture.
Kids Bee Happy fits in with Jackie’s home and family life. Jackie’s husband Chris and daughter Jessica who is 6 both help her out at events and parties when needed. Jessica loves making pictures and has become quite an expert at the whole process.
As a family they enjoy days out to local places like Trentham Gardens, Amerton Farm and Staffordshire Wildlife Centres. They love walking particularly over Cannock Chase and it’s even better when they spot a deer or any other wildlife. They are hoping that when their motorhome conversion project is completed they can venture further afield and “camp out”. The family loves holidaying in the UK, there are so many lovely places it’s just a shame the weather is not so lovely!!
Jackie enjoys reading novels and cooking, she loves her slow cooker and likes baking cakes with Jessica although they never last very long !
Socialising with family and friends is also very important to Jackie and she likes nothing better than relaxing with a glass of red after a long day entertaining children!
