Dan was an English teacher for 10 years before moving into management where I worked as a Curriculum and Quailty Manager for Work Based Learning. The role involved managing the quality of training carried out with local, regional and national employers.
He has also recently been working as a consultant for the Functional Skills suite of qualifications. This role involved working with a number of schools to implement and integrate Functional Skills, particularly literacy, into vocational qualifications.
Dan is also well know in the Frodsham area from his other business the Castle Park Coffee Bar in Castle Park, which he started in Summer 2010. You might also know him from his Ice Cream van, which is branded with the name ‘Adele’ after his late grandmother.
